August in review

  • I was hoping to have had a lot more gaming time this summer than actually happened, which is mostly due to extra work and schedule readjustments. Retro gaming remained on haitus and I mainly focused on two MMOs.
  • Let’s start with the title that I put the most time into, Lord of the Rings Online. My Lore-master jumped into Mordor at launch and has been steadily making her way through it. I finished up the first zone and am midway through the second. I also started up a Hobbit Hunter as a more thorough playthrough character and devoted much time to grinding Ale Association quests to get her goat mount.
  • Despite high ambitions to finish Transylvania in Secret World Legends, I am maybe about 40% of the way through. Still, one zone down, Cost of Magic skipped, and I’m enjoying a quest or three every…
