The Kobold Docks

Dyson's Dodecahedron

Along the western jetties and piers of the city are the Kobold Docks, a moderately large wooden pier where boats can be purchased or rented from Jotel Vuzen, a “sahuagin out of water” if you will. Jotel acts as the agent for a few shipwrights and Xughon Belpar, a pirate who acquires his trade goods in an entirely illegal manner.

The Kobold Docks The Kobold Docks

Generally Jotel has d3+1 smaller boats at the pier, and 1d3-2 larger craft in the harbour. He also often has a few smaller stolen goods in his tent on the pier that he sells on commission for Xughon, mixed in with the various apothecary goods that his elven wife Phyehni collects and sells.

Of course, with all these goods of questionable provenance moving through this area, any time that player characters find themselves buying something here there’s the off chance that they will get caught up in some other drama…

On October 26th, PlayStation 4 owners who may have been craving a classic Castlevania experience will be treated to not one but two famous Castlevania games from the SNES and PS1 eras in Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood. Origin Story: The Story of Hephaestas, Part 6

Heph's Forge

Click here to read part 5

A lone dwarf sat in the corner of the appropriately named Drowning Sorrows Inn. Five empty mugs sat in front of the Dwarf, who was half asleep and slumped against the wall. Hephaestas walked up to the intoxicated dwarf and put on a scolding look.
“You know, last time I saw you, you told me you were going to keep it down to three mugs at most.” he began at the dwarf.

The lump of hair and mass stirred and began to speak, slurring his words as he did.

“Ahh, you’s sound juss lik’ this Forge-Folk I once knew, he owes me a boat that he does! An’ ish wasssnt fiiive – I’s only had t-t-twwo!” the creature forcefully whispered, hiccuping small icy cold breaths as he slurred his way to the end of the sentence.

“Oh, is that so? Barri I did give…

Tools of the Trade

Scriv the Bard

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized I have a thing for “kits”. It’s oddly satisfying, gathering a collection of carefully curated items that share a common purpose…whether it’s your camping gear, a first-aid kit, your go-to stash of snacks and sweets you keep in your desk drawer at work (I know I’m not the only one), but even more important than chocolate…your D&D Kit!

I’ve had a handful of people ask about what I keep behind the screen and what tools are in my DM’s survival kit. So, here it is!

WAIT! Before you keep reading, I just want to say that, while there are a lot of commonalities in different DMs’ gear of choice, there is no right or wrong way to prep. It is completely dependent on your own process. Some people like going paperless with their notes and work off a laptop or tablet, I go old…

Sony Finally Allows Cross-Platform Play!

TWOTALL4UFOOL's Gaming & More

cross-platform play fortnite

Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! So two days ago something big happened in the world of gaming. It was definitely a win for the gamers. Sony finally caved and gave us what we wanted. They are going to allow cross-platform play to happen. This is definitely huge. I knew it was eventually going to happen sometime down the line but I figured it would happen much later rather than sooner. Especially with Sony’s stance on cross-platform play.

According The Verge Sony is going to allow cross-platform play with Fortnite. I don’t see what the big fuss is about with that game but I guess it is taking the world by storm. And it’s leading the way with cross-platform play among the three major platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch). This is definitely groundbreaking. With Fortnite’s success and the people over at Epic Games…
