More than my Geomorphs (which I’ve been recently revisiting), this blog’s breakthrough into the OSR was with Dyson’s Delve which I released level-by-level from October 2010 through to the last day of the year.
An 11-level “mini mega dungeon”, Dyson’s Delve was designed to give a small megadungeon experience and to advance characters that played it at a rate that would start them at level 1 and culminate the adventure at level 6.
You can see the genesis of my map style in these maps (much like the geomorph maps which came out around the same time).
But times have changed – it’s been nearly a decade and my style has evolved a bit over the intervening years. Here are the first two levels of the classic mini-mega-dungeon at 1200 dpi in my new style as seen in the new D&D hardcover adventure, Ghosts of Saltmarsh.
