Jeff Akervik (Creative Director, Game Informer)
Born and raised in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Jeff attended the University of Minnesota majoring in Graphic Design. After graduating in 2003 he did all sorts of design work for everything from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. In 2008 he landed a design job at his hometown publication, Game Informer. Two years into working at GI he was promoted to Creative Director where he now oversees the look of the brand and all of it’s outlets, from the magazine and website to their social media pages.
When he’s not working, Jeff spends time with his two children Josephine (7) and Zelda (4) and his wife of almost 12 years, Alexis, whom he says are his absolute pride and joy.
