There’s been a boom in popularity with multi-player games or multi-player modes, especially once consoles offered online gaming. In fact, they make up some of the best-selling titles in recent history such as Overwatch, Call of Duty, Destiny 2, SuperMario Party, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Fortnite. Minecraft was initially released in 2011 and sold over 200 million copies. Approximately 24 million of those were made between May 2020 and May 2021.
