Google Stadia was a promising concept when it was first rumored. Along with Project xCloud, being able to play games wherever you are despite the tech that is available to you is the dream of all gamers. But, where Xbox has succeeded in the streaming race, Google failed in the eyes of many, and now seems the cord is being pulled entirely.
According to a report from Game Informer via Business Insider, an attempt to rebuild the product is underway in a simpler form, rumored to just be titled Google Stream with its eyes more business related than competing in the gaming space. Google reportedly is testing it out with different markets, including Peloton, Bungie, and other applications to help analyze back-end data.
