When last we left our heroes, we had just rescued all of the children that were being held captive in a twisted tree house that belongs to a hideous hag, Skabatha Nightshade. We may have also inadvertently trashed her bedroom and set fire to parts of the house. Now would probably be a good time to beat a hasty retreat. We tried to escape via the fallen log bridge that connects her house and grounds to the verdant safety of the mystical forest of Thither.
